Art on 5th will have a large space at this fall’s festival to showcase the “Secret Art of Dr. Seuss” Join them under the big red and white tent on the corner of 6th Street and San Jacinto for an interactive Seuss experience! The wildly imaginative artwork included in the collection shows a previously unseen dimension of Theodore Seuss Geisel’s genius. These pieces depict outlandish creatures, otherworldly settings, studies that are related to his incredible body of work as an author, and colorful characters. They will surely enchant and amaze you!

Children of all ages can take pictures with a live Seuss character and test their art skills in our coloring and drawing contest. The best drawings and colorings will be entered for a chance to win a set of the 5 most popular Dr. Seuss books.

The Pecan Street Festival is constantly evolving, and looking for ways to bring great art of all Kinds to its attendees. We are extremely excited to be able to have such a unique opportunity to partner with Art on 5th, an Austin art institution since 1998.

The HOPE (Helping Other People Everywhere) is a project of HOPE Events, Inc. an eco-conscious 501(c)3 non-profit that helps artists & musicians support education projects around the world.

The Pecan Street Festival will have a limited number of recyclable grocery bags at this years Fall Festival. The bags can be found at the OPSA tent Booth 77 and the HOPE tent Booth 236. Included in the bags will be some seriously cool swag, so be sure to be one of the first people in town to sport one and reap its benefits!!!!

We know people love to take pictures at Pecan Street Fest and we want to show off the finest ones. So we’re having a contest to find the photo that best captures the spirit of the festival.
